The
two men offered a series of classic matches over those few months,
including many 60 and 90 minute draws. No doubt that while Flair is
probably the best wrestler that ever lived, Barry Windham isn't far
behind him.
One
year after their incredible series, the two men were allies in the Four
Horsemen.
It
was one of the greatest pure wrestling feuds ever held. The two best
wrestlers in Jim Crockett Promotions in 1987 gave the fans some truly
unforgettable matches. They brought out the best in each other, and gave
a perfect example of what a World Championship match should look like.
Their series of matches were a true credit to the wrestling industry.
